Read the code

The code that holds the keys, checks transactions and prices the relayer is public, and so are the fee relayer and the mobile app. These are the files that answer the questions a careful person would ask, so you can read them and judge for yourself.

The repositories

Four repositories hold the parts of NoirWire that are public.

Questions worth asking

Each answer below points to a file, or says why it is not public. Read the file, not this page's summary of it.

Public code is an invitation to check, not a verdict. This page does not say the code is correct.

  1. Where is the recovery phrase stored?

In your browser, inside one wallet record encrypted with AES-256-GCM under your password. This file is the whole of that.

  2. What can a transaction spend before I sign?

A transaction built by a third party is simulated first and held to what you reviewed. Trades are checked in the first file, private funding and Earn in the second.

  3. Who pays the network cost, and how much can they charge?

The relayer pays the network and the portfolio pays it back in USDC inside the same transaction. This file sets the price and its cap.

  4. What does the relayer refuse to sign?

Its rules are one configuration file: the programs and tokens it accepts, and the most it will pay for one transaction.

  5. What do MagicBlock, Jupiter and the data provider receive?

The server builds each outgoing request from scratch, without your IP, cookies or browser details.

This runs on NoirWire's own server, which is not a public repository.

It is an early release. Start with a small amount.
