Dark pools on Solana: what each one hides.
Private trading systems hide different information. A private swap can hide transaction details. A private order book hides resting orders before they fill.
What a dark pool means
A dark pool keeps orders out of public view before execution. The details that become public after execution depend on the system. NoirWire publishes fills to a tape with time, side, price and size.
Three ways to trade privately
Dark AMMs keep their own quotes private. Private swaps hide some transaction details. Private order books keep resting orders hidden from other traders and the public until they match.
Compare the systems
The table below separates what each project hides, who can read the order flow, and where it operates. Source links accompany each project.

SOL-PERP orders match inside MagicBlock's Private Ephemeral Rollup. Fills print to a public tape with time, side, price and size. Read the limits on the risks page before funding an account.
GoDark by GoQuant
Network and execution
Solana custody and checkpoints; off-chain matching
Who can read your resting orders
The venue operator can decrypt orders; the book is not public
Perp positions
Private
Markets
Perpetuals, per its docs; its site also shows token swaps
Status
Early access with a waitlist, per its site (Oct 2026)
The catch: Matched off-chain on the venue's own engine rather than in a Solana program, and orders are encrypted to the venue, which can decrypt them.

Questions
- Is a dark AMM an order book?
- No. A dark AMM fills swaps from its own quotes; it has no resting book of user orders.
- Can you trade perps privately on Solana?
- Yes. NoirWire Dark Pool trades SOL-PERP on Solana mainnet inside MagicBlock's Private Ephemeral Rollup.
